Recent Reviews & Upcoming Projects

the latest.

hey all.

journeymen's production of an experiment with an air pump has two weekends to go. i hope you'll be able to make it down to the clark street playhouse and see it.

i've put some excerpts from various press outlets below, in case you need more than my word to come and see the show.

a "smart, intellectually engaging production"
-Bob Mondello, Washington City Paper

"the performances were...uniformly excellent"
-DC Theatre Reviews

"This new small theater company started off strong and just keeps getting better. Their latest is an absorbing evening of stylish theater which takes a fine play and gives it a superior production that enhances its strengths."
-Potomac Stages: A POTOMAC STAGES PICK

now, for something completely different;

i am pleased to let you in on my next theatrical outing in washington. i have been cast as emil traum and herr swetts in rorschach theatre's production of a bright room called day that will begin rehearsal in february, opening in early april. rorschach is a theater i've been itching to work with and am looking forward to this piece. i am also a huge tony kushner fan, and this being his first published play, all the more exciting.

bright room will also afford me the opportunity to once again share the stage with the talented miss lindsay allen - also a massachusetts native and a spectacular actor. she, too, can be seen in air pump... so there's another reason to come!

some auditions and things in the works. will keep you up-to-date as things happen.

till then.
matt.
